Question by : What do you make out of your fiance sending himself old dirty pics/videos of ex girlfriend to himself?
Background: thanks to dirt bags of my past, I have trust issues…but each of them start off with 100% trust but when I see any “sign” of dishonesty I snoop…and I ALWAYS find something. Call it my “sixth sense.” We had been having a long distance relationship for the past 6 months because I was finishing school in another state and I recently moved in and got engaged. Additionally, I should note, that my fiance is a high testosterone and VERY sexual being…lucky for me…well, kind of.

Earlier this week I walked into the room and my fiance quicky shut down (switched screens) on his e-mail…then talked to me (like nothing was going on) but wouldn’t open his e-mail while I was in the room and he seemed rather nervous. Then he tried to “shoe” me out of the room saying that he needed to get work done. I found this highly suspicious (been there done that before) and when I walked out of the room and down the hall, I looked back and saw that he opened his e-mail again and it appeared as though he was clearing out the spam crap you get on chat (yahoo is horrible about dirty spam/chat invites) so I just let it go. Well, he went out of town on business the other day and when I went to use the computer I noticed he left his e-mail account open (logged in). Given the fact that he was so secretive about it the other night I got into it (bad..I know..but if he wants to marry me, we should have no secrets). It all looked normal and then the two pages into his e-mail history I found where he had sent a whole host of pictures/videos to himself from his phone. They were from back in Feb and again in March (it’s now just the beginning of June) that he, at that time, had forwarded to himself. Most of them were of me (hey..we were long distance and trying to keep the love life alive) but then I found that he had also forwarded to himself pictures (naughty explicit ones of other girls – I assume relatively recent ex girlfriends) and naughty videos of him and another girl (again, a relatively recent ex girlfriend). So here are pictures of me (okay, that’s cool) mixed in with other girls of his past (not so cool).

I’m cool with him having pics of exes (I have some mixed in with all my pics of the past) but I am not so keen on the idea of him having sex type pictures/videos of other women (I don’t have any)…especially since he obviously made the recent conscious decision to forward those pictures to his e-mail….not only that, but it wasn’t like he just forwarded them to himself…they were all read…which means he was recently looking at them. Again, the ones of me..okay…the ones of them…still not okay.

I read on one blog that some guys just like to have their own personal “porn stash”…and while i’m not keen on porn….I know he has many CD/DVD of them and I have come to terms with that. However, the only “porn” like that I would want to see is of myself…not other women. Not jealous (I look way better – thank goodness) but I just don’t really care to have this sort of stuff around when we are starting our serious future with one another. I find it rather disrespectful to me….it would be one thing if they were old and he had forgot about them…but the fact that he recently forwarded them to himself really bothers me (and there isn’t a way to tell how long ago these were taken either so that presents a whole other problem. The video I know is pre-me because certain things in the house were missing..but can’t tell on the pics…I assume – and hope – they are pre-me too).

I like to think I am a very realistic person but I am not sure what to make of this situation. It does really bother me only due to the fact that he chose to forward himself the pics all while planning on getting engaged to me.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Men…please chime in…looking for opinions here.
